What two or three things are most important to you in your job?
That will be Creativity/Inspiration: Ideas to make new content. Self-care: Learning when to relax when needed and setting boundaries (things you can do or not do for filming requests).
What do you think is the biggest misconception about this industry?
I think people in my country tend to have the impression that it’s a dishonorable but easy money job that erodes the mindset of society. Though I hope that society would try to understand the perspective of the person making the decision to be part of this industry.
Where do you hope to see yourself in ten years?
I hope to see myself diversified to other SFW businesses and earning revenue aside from being a creator in NSFW platforms. Having my own spacious production studio would be a dream come true. Along the way, I hope I could make more revenue so I can afford to hire professionals to film and edit my creative works.
How do you determine or measure success?
As a small creator I measure my success by looking into how my marketing post performed with the audience engagement and how well it translates into income. This can be determined by a variety of factors, like consistency of posting content, engagement with audience, tweaking posts, and personal reputation in online space. A huge success is when I am finally able to upscale my business further.
What is the silliest moment you’ve ever had on a live cam or piece of content you’ve created?
That would be breaking character while role-playing as Red Riding Hood while filming. Couldn’t stop laughing while reciting the dialogue. 😂
What do you like to do for fun and enrichment when you aren’t working?
I go window shopping, try new food recipes, travel out of the city to enjoy nature, sometimes PC/mobile gaming. At times I’m also looking at other artists’ artwork for content ideas and then going to an online marketplace to browse for props/costumes I can use for future shows.
How do you balance your work and personal life to avoid burnout? And if you’ve experienced burnout in this industry what steps did you take to combat it?
Quite the same answer as the earlier question. If I can add, that would be going for massage therapy or going for longer vacation where one can put their mind away from work. To me, vacation also presents itself as an opportunity to make something different than the usual background setting I used for my shows. If vacation is not an option, learning to take it easy and relax at home helps.
What piece of advice can you give to someone who is just beginning their journey in the adult industry/on SinParty?
Try to be consistent in your content creation and marketing. The more you make it a habit to post, the more stuff you have to offer to attract your audience to watch your content. Embrace your uniqueness and develop your niche. This is what makes you stand out from the rest. Learn to take care of yourself physically and mentally.
If you had to live your life over again, is there anything you would change?
Yes, that would be opting to take up an extra language class while in school and transitioning a few years earlier.
What do you consider to be your greatest strength?
Endurance of the mind. Having that has helped me deal with difficult and unpleasant situations in the past.
What major problems have you encountered in this industry and what lessons have you learnt from them?
There are a few; such as people who are silently trying to limit your post exposure in the NSFW social media community or dealing with your content being plagiarized and monetized in other adult sites by other people. It can be distressing to mental health and lower self-esteem. The lesson here is learning not to think too much about it and keep moving forward. Apply watermark branding to protect your content so that way at least the audience can be encouraged to visit and support your official creator platform.
What personal characteristics do you think are necessary for succeeding in this industry?
Open mindedness to explore new ideas (as long as it’s compliant with site rules). This helps to build a variety of content on your platform. Having an active respectful relationship with your audience can open up new possibilities. This builds up your supportive community. Some of my collab/partnered contents are also made possible from the start of a chat with people online.
If you could be any fruit, what would it be and why?
I would pick grapes because it’s my favorite fruit to eat. Can be turned to wine or raisins. It is also one of the few fruits being close to my favorite color: purple.
How do you find inspiration for your creative process?
There are a few ways. Most of the time I looked at other people’s posts, artwork or 18+ manga for the inspiration to do a themed show. Some of them are also derived from gaming and watching anime for NSFW cosplay ideas. Some are also from randomly browsing online for new toys and sexy costumes that I can use for a show.
Did you have a role model growing up and are they still your role model?
Yes and no.
How did you get into adult content/live camming?
Initially, I got into it out of curiosity and wanted to explore my sexuality. It was also around that time when I heard of several adult content creators making a good amount of income that got me to give it a go.
What motivates you to put forth your best?
A new passion project that I have been longing to make and post for my supporters to enjoy.
How do you think a friend would describe you?
I’m not sure, I know I’m not perfect in some ways and routine habits. So far the friends I met have been kind, thoughtful and encouraging. That is what I appreciate and am thankful for. Hope this is an acceptable answer.
What are you excited about?
Meeting new people face to face, traveling and seeing new places.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?
I grew up in a conservative country with a family that values tradition. However, that didn’t stop me from transitioning. Once I got my first job in retail after graduating I got the income to fund my stealthy transition. As time passed, some major life changing events occurred and I began thinking about my future finances and life goals. Then I decided to job hop in different fields until I finally decided to give it a try in the adult entertainment industry. This has helped me to discover more about myself and my sexuality. It has built up my self-confidence and overcome my gender dysphoria. I am bisexual, and I love costumed roleplay as well as being open to exploring other fantasy. Boobs are my biggest turn on. Love travel and enjoy trying out new food. Cute things are calming to me.
What was the last film, book, podcast that is industry related you consumed and what were your thoughts on it and how the overall industry and sexwork was portrayed?
There is this title on YouTube I watched not long ago called “I spent a Day inside Japan’s Pornstar theme park” by The Anime Man. It is considered pretty tame and friendly. The important element it has managed to portray is that both parties are consenting and understanding boundaries. It is quite the documentary style so the portrayal is as real as it gets. There’s also a better one which is “I worked on set for a Fetish Porn Video | 24 Hour Intern” by VICE. It is an eye-opening documentary on behind the scenes for 18+ film production. The technicals and setup are on a larger scale, but it’s pretty much what creators and performers have to experience in the industry.
If you identify as a sexworker, what does being a sexworker mean to you?
I see myself being no different than being a person who runs a business that provides the service of entertainment. It’s a consenting adult entertainment that helps people find relief. At times it can even be a safe space for people to talk about what they enjoy so they feel heard.
What does your aftercare and post filming/live streaming routine look like?
A good shower, thorough body cleaning and then a short relaxation. Then I use a software/app to edit my videos and render before I publish on my platform 😊
